Masterson’s Lounge, situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its doors was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The State of Affairs: Squalid and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I entered , it was clear that sanitation was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and neglected washrooms suffused the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , decay and sour vomit .
